How to convert CGPA/DGPA in filling Online form?
How to convert CGPA/DGPA in filling Online form?
Dont get confusion friends,
For the first column,
Semester I = Marks Obtained = 950/ Total Marks = 1000
Semester II = Marks Obtained = 850/ Total Marks = 1000
Semester III = Marks Obtained = 750/ Total Marks = 1000
So the percentages are as follows,
for I st sem, 95%
II nd sem, 85%
III rd sem, 75%
Like this we have to put for every semesters in the first column. This is the normal percentage calculation.
For the second one, it is the cumulative percentage calculation.
What is cumulative percentage?
Cumulative percentage means, Increasing by successive addition.
Example:-
For First semester
I.total marks,
II.marks obtained,
III.marks obtained/total marks*100
For Second semester
I.total marks 1st sem+total marks 2nd sem,
II.marks obtained 1st sem+marks obtained 2ndsem,
III.(marks obtained 1st sem+marks obtained 2ndsem)/ (total marks 1stsem+total marks 2nd sem)*100
For Third semester
I.total marks 1st sem+total marks 2nd sem+total marks 3rd sem,
II.marks obtained 1st sem+marks obtained 2ndsem+marks obtained 3rdsem,
III.(marks obtained 1st sem+marks obtained 2ndsem+marks obtained 3rdsem/total marks 1st sem)+(total marks 2nd sem+total marks 3rd sem)*100
For the third column i.e. CGPA/DGPA (Cumulative)
CGPA/DGPA = marks scored / 9.5 (based on cbse standard)
E.g:- marks scored sem I = 70
marks scored sem II = 75
marks scored sem III = 78
then to find CGPA of these,
Sem I = 70 / 9.5 = 7.36
Sem II = 75 / 9.5 = 7.89
Sem III= 78 / 9.5 = 8.21
Filling the last column:-
% of marks upto to two decimals based on cumulative grade CGPA
In this just multiply your CGPA value with 9.5
i.e. Sem I = 7.36 * 9.5 = 69.92
Sem II = 7.89* 9.5 = 74.95
Sem III = 8.21 * 9.5 = 77.99
Like this we have to fiill in the last column.
NOTE:- This value 9.5 is for CBSE grade to percentage conversion value. This may vary for every individual universities. The candidate has to ask the respective universities/colleges to get this value. Else you may apply by using 9.5 as the common value.
