What is expected from the candidate on this scenario by the Psychologist?
The psychologist expects the candidate should write a acceptable story as per the given picture.
The candidate should have the capability to perceive the basic parameters in the given picture.
The basic parameters are as age, gender, character and mood. Though some cases are there, since
some pictures are completely hazy and some are partially hazy.
In the case of completely hazy picture the perception of each candidate changes while in the case of
partially hazy picture, most of the candidate perception matches. So, if you want to implement a pre-built story in the partially hazy picture, it wont sounds good.
What is a acceptable story?
A story of an individual which show cases few officer like qualities and can able to do by an normal
individual. Also, it should be related to the given picture.
So, What you have to do to write a good acceptable story?
Use the 30 seconds completely to note down all the possible things from the picture. This part is called perception. Take ten seconds and remember the human and non human things in the picture.
Write the story as per the guidance of the psychologist (Since, the instructions may vary from board to board).
How to write a good acceptable story?
Image a scenario, a hazy picture is given to you.
- A bridge with a river flowing water under it.(Can view clearly)
- Few boat like shades. (Cant view, only an assumption as it is a boat because its under the bridge)
- Few human like shades.(Cant view, only an assumption)
Here, every person can see a bridge, but only the keen observers can able to get the shades of boat and humans. So if you observe clearly the whole picture by utilizing the full 30 seconds automatically you get all the required things for constructing a good story.
Note:- Never rush yourself to write the story. As even if you dont write the full story in the given time, it wont be a big issue. But, if you fail to construct a good story i.e. not related to the given image, mostly it will be difficult for you to put your points in the discussion (GD).
