ReplyDeleteI have done my btech in A.P. in EEE department with still 6 baklogs which r yet to be completed in this comin nov wid a %60.7 nd have a complete confidence to get 60% after clearing all subjects ......! but the problem is , i have soo much passion for this defense job is dat every notification i see regardin this defense jobs is killin me .......!
i have already applied for CDS n worried about showin ma btech certificates durin the exam n all, for the remainin notifications i am just un eligible coz of bak logs is der anything i can do?? or else waiting till nov n clear ma subjects is the only solution ???
but as i am born on 1989 sep worried about the age limit they keep......!
can u help me out wid a detailed explanation nd suggest me somethin na plz??? these doubts have been killin me from a very long tym
@vinod, first it is not necessary to show your btech certificates while during the CDS exam.
ReplyDeleteWait and prepare well for your backlogs vinod. You can apply for army till 25yrs of age through TGC's. So dont worry about age concern. Concentrate more on backlogs. All the best friend. Hope you will become an officer.

ReplyDeleteNo, the name it self shows us it is for university studying students, UES - University Entry Scheme. It is not for the person who have finished their degree. For the person who finished their engineering degree can apply TGC - Technical Graduation Course and SSC(T)- Short Service Commission

ReplyDeleteFriend, defense career is our individual passion, it should come from heart its a service and we should not choose that for the sake of career. Surely you may like any one service more such as Army, Navy, Airforce, Coast guard. Choose any one, keep that in mind, work for it surely you will achieve.
For your case, since you are an arts graduate, you have to write CDS-Combined Defense Service Examination, clear that then appear for SSB interview to become an Officer. All the best and find your passion of field in defense forces. Thank you

@Nagakumar, They dont expect you to be good in physique. They expect that a candidate should have a good attitude and qualities ,without any diseases. Also, you should not be obese.

I have some doubts to be clarified regarding eligibility. i'm 24yrs of age completed my bachelor degree in Metallurgical Engineering as a laterall entry student(oly three yrs) after completing my diploma in Production Engineering. I look for tecnical grade, while considering the subjects eligibility out of 18 i meet only 7 in my 3yrs UG. when diploma is included i meet 10 subjects (8 out of 18) which is eligible as per advertisement. now i'm eligible or not?
I contacted them but no response brother, upto my knowledge you are eligible. Let v be positive, you apply first and prepare well.
